Departure Date :
08.00 Depart from the hotel for the Royal Grand Palace. Upon arrival visit the temple of the Emerald Buddha with the Golden Stupa housing the relics of the Lord Buddha, the Scripture Hall, the Royal Pantheon and pay respect to the Emerald Buddha inside the ordination hall. Continue to the Royal Grand and visit Great Residence Group, the Audience Hall as well as the Funeral Hall (all buildings are closed on Saturday and Sunday, some buildings are permitted to enter on weekdays)
10.30 Depart from the Grand Palace and back to the hotel or drop off for shopping or lunch.

The Grand Palace tour comprises the two most beautiful places of the Thai Kingdom, the Royal Grand Palace of the Chakkri Kings and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, the palladium of people of Thailand.
The tour will last about 1.30 hours inside the complex. The first section of the tour is the visit of the temple of the Emerald Buddha built in 1782 as the palace temple, the temple which used for some specific purposes by the kings and members of the royal family, For the Thais, it is really a treasure house of Thai arts, and houses the Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
Absorb the beauty of the temple ground, Thai architectural style and Chinese influences on Thai architecture. Also pay homage to the most venerated Emerald Buddha image of the nation.
The Grand Palace complex is divided into four distinct areas: Outer Court, Central Court, Inner Court and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The first part once encompassed ministerial offices, barracks, and palace guards. The central part contained the royal residences where all important state receptions and ceremonies took place. The Inner Court was a forbidden city enclosed by a massive, high wall. Visitors today are given access to enter the Royal Chapel, three-throne halls, a museum and the Royal Chapel Museum.
The Grand Palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha were built at the same time Bangkok was founded in 1782.
